A Queen Anne 1706 Small Sterling Silver Caudle Cup

Manufacturer - William Fleming, London

Date - 1706

Description - An exceptionally rare miniature sterling silver caudle cup, beautifully formed with two elegant scroll handles and a writhen‑decorated lower bowl that catches the light with real charm. Despite its diminutive scale, the craftsmanship is wonderfully assured, giving it all the presence of a full‑sized example in miniature.
The base is engraved with the initials E ✶ N, almost certainly betrothal or marital marks, adding a personal and romantic layer of social history to an already delightful piece.
A lovely little survivor — tactile, decorative, and highly collectable.

Hallmark - This cup has clear hallmarks with cypher for William Fleming, and a London date cypher for 1706
