Description - An elegant pair of cast and bright‑cut George III period sugar tongs, decorated with attractive and finely detailed engraving to the arms and bow. As is typical of cast‑arm construction, the tongs were made in three sections—two arms and a central bow—and the clear, well‑struck hallmarks neatly overlap the soldered seams. A lovely and well‑crafted pair, full of late 18th‑century charm and quality.
Condition - The condition of these cast arm tongs is excellent with neither any damage nor repairs. A very fine pair of tongs
