Description - An elegant pair of cast silver sugar tongs, featuring a plain bow, finely modelled open arms, and bowls enriched with deep-cut and engraved linework. Their construction is particularly noteworthy, as cast tongs are uncommon at this late date—1900 being rather beyond the period when cast manufacture was typically employed.

Condition - Apart from professional restoration to one of the arms, these tongs are in very good condition

Hallmark - These tongs have a Sheffield manufacturer's cypher for Thomas Bradbury & Sons and a date cypher for 1900
