Description - A rare Georgian silver oyster fork in the elegant Old English pattern, distinguished by a crisp engraved ‘W’ to the reverse of the handle. These small specialist forks were produced in limited numbers and are now highly collectable, especially examples from the late‑18th to early‑19th century with original period monograms.
Condition - This fork is in clean, very good condition in keeping with its age
Hallmark - This fork has rubbed hallmarks with cypher for ? 'Richard Crossley' and a London date cypher for 1789
